Statement From The Dean
Welcome to the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, the oldest graduate school of the University of Liberia and in Liberia.
The Law School has a proud history and stature in Liberia. Our alumni have had and continue to hold tremendous impact on the governance and culture of Liberia. Currently, two of the three branches of the Liberian Government-The Legislature and the Judiciary-are headed by alumni of the Law School!
The Law School and its team of exceptionally talented and experienced professors are committed to supporting students begin the study of law, and to using the law as an instrument for positive change.
Our student body also reflects tremendous diversity of age, background and experiences, but bound by a common interest of persistent inquiry and a focus on change and excellence.
I cannot fully describe the Law School and its faculty, students or their amazing individual and collective impacts in this limited space. And so without much ado, I urge you to explore the Law School through the information provided on this website, and hopefully with an on-campus visit.
All members of our faculty and staff are available and eager to support you.
